You can deposit money into your Abundance portfolio at any time by making an online bank payment or a bank transfer.

You can make a payment from your bank without leaving your Abundance account using open banking. You can also make a bank payment as part of placing an investment, so there is no need to separately deposit in advance.
Open banking payments are quicker, easier and more secure than card payments and you don't have to key in your card details manually. Simply select your banking provider from a list and then use your mobile banking app (or desktop process) to authorise the payment securely.
To make a deposit via open banking payment:
Select Account in the top right to open the main menu.
Under the portfolio name you want to deposit to, select the Deposit option
Enter the amount you wish to deposit and click 'Confirm'.
Choose payment Instant bank payment.
Select your banking provider from the list (there are a small number of UK banks that are not part of the Open Banking network)
If you're on a mobile device, you'll be taken to your mobile banking app to authorise the payment. If you're on a desktop device, scan the QR code shown with your mobile device to authorise the payment in your banking app.
Once the payment has been authorised, we will confirm receipt and add it to your Abundance account within 1 working day.
Bank transfer

If you don't want to make an open banking payment to deposit money to your Abundance account, you can make a more traditional bank transfer. This requires you visiting your bank (whether that's online, mobile app, over the phone, or in branch) and setting up a bank transfer to send money to our client money bank account. We will provide you with our bank account details as well as a unique reference to attach to your bank transfer.
You will need to make your bank transfer and have it confirmed by Abundance before you will be able to invest. If you are depositing to invest in an investment that is nearly full or about to close, particularly if it is over a weekend, then we suggest you make an open banking payment instead as this can be done as part of making your investment to reserve your space.
You can find our bank details for a deposit by doing the following:
Select Account in the top right to open the main menu.
Under the portfolio name you want to deposit to, select the Deposit option
Enter the amount you wish to deposit and click 'Confirm'.
Choose payment option Manual bank transfer.
Read the instructions and then request a reference number
This will give you our bank account details to make a bank transfer to, as well as your unique deposit reference which you will need to use as the reference on your bank transfer to ensure we can promptly add it to your Abundance account once we have received the money.
Once we have received the money we will allocate it your Abundance account and you'll receive an email to let you know the money is available.
