How to transfer money in your IF ISA from Abundance to another provider

Updated this week

You can transfer money in your Abundance IF ISA to another IF ISA provider or to another type of ISA such as a Cash or Stocks & Shares ISA. You can only transfer cash, not investments, so you may need to sell your investments through our marketplace before requesting the transfer from your new ISA provider, if you want to transfer more than the money in your cash balance.

There are no fees for transferring out from your Abundance IF ISA.

How much can I transfer?

You can transfer as much or as little of the money held in your Abundance IF ISA as you like.

However, if you would like to transfer money that you contributed to your Abundance IF ISA in the current tax year, you may need to transfer the full amount that you have added in the current year as some ISA providers do not accept partial transfers. Check with your ISA provider if you are unsure.

How do I make an ISA transfer?

To transfer money in your Abundance IF ISA to a new provider you will need to fill out a transfer request form with your new ISA provider who will then request the funds from us.ย

Your new ISA provider may request a reference number and/or an account number and sort code for your Abundance IF ISA. Your Abundance IF ISA does not have its own sort code and account number - this is typically only for Cash ISAs.

Instead, please use your Abundance account reference which can be found within your Abundance account, underneath your name in the pop out menu when you go to Account in the top right of the page. If the transfer form for your ISA provider requires a sort code and account number to complete or submit the form, then you can enter Abundance's general client bank account details:

  • Sort code: 30-65-41

  • Account number: 41709060

Once we've received your ISA transfer request from your new provider we'll create the transfer and you'll receive and email where you'll need to confirm the transfer. If you have accidentally deleted the email you can also confirm an pending ISA transfers out here. After you've confirmed the transfer we'll send the funds to your new provider.
